Physiognomy & Feng Shui
The 相 (xiang, “form”) art is the branch of Chinese metaphysics that reads meaning out of outward form. Its two largest branches are feng shui (风水), which reads the form of land and dwelling, and the physiognomy of the person — face reading (面相), hand reading (手相), and body reading (体相); name reading (名相) is grouped here as well. This section covers how those forms are assessed, separately from the Foundations they are read against.
